Painting & unpainting: A brand new site and a big new show!

I’ve always found that I work best with a deadline to meet so, when Broadgate Estates contacted me in late December, inviting me to put on an exhibition in The Broadgate Tower, I decided to use the show as a-very-good-reason to do a lot of the things I’ve been meaning to do for a while.

As a result, the last 2 months have been all systems go. Paintings have been finished, photographed and framed, a new website has been planned and built, a catalogue is nearing completion and plans for a Private View of the exhibition are now, finally, starting to take shape.

It’s been a busy time, but I feel like it’s brought about a long-overdue rethink of the way that I make my work, and also in the way that I share that work with the world.

I hope that you enjoy my new site (beautifully put together by Nat Hobson at Carr Kamasa Design) and I hope also that you’ll be able to join me for my forthcoming Private View at The Broadgate Tower on Thursday May 22. The paintings are all lined up in the studio as we speak, waiting to be collected, and I’m confident it is going to be a great looking show.

Meanwhile take a look around and please do let me know what you think. Sign up to my newsletter if you’d like to hear about new shows and new work, or follow me on Twitter for regular updates and work in progress.

Thanks for visiting!
